Pluto continues its slow move through the sign of Sagittarius until March 2008 affecting Sagittarians and Geminis in particular everywhere. The planet of expansion, Jupiter is still retrograde in Libra, and remains in reverse until early June giving us a chance to reassess partnership issues and the way we interact in a team. Also, to be open to new opportunities from the past. The key event is the New Moon in Pisces on March 10. Follow your Piscean dreams but have your feet firmly planted in reality, with Saturn also in the picture.

Mercury turns retrograde at 14 degrees Aries in the afternoon of March 19 until April 11. Watch out for careless communication and check everything you do. See my Mercury Retrograde section to find out more.

The Sun enters Aries on March 20, marking the beginning of Spring and the blossoming of hope and new growth, though watch out for that Mercury retrograde also in Aries, so check carefully before beginning new ventures. In the last week of the month, two planets - Saturn and Pluto - change direction. Saturn turns direct and Pluto retrograde. There's also a Full Moon on March 25, and Venus enters Aries. This is a significant time when plans can come to fruition and new relationships can blossom. Shortly after the equinox on March 20, Mars enters Aquarius, which combines pioneering and innovation.

March 1 - Pluto squared by Mercury. Beware of intense, disruptive communication.

March 2 - Moon enters Sagittarius at 10:29 a.m. Venus-Saturn sesquiquadrate tones down the playful nature.

March 3 - A Mars-Jupiter (Capricorn-Libra) square brings a busy day.

March 4 - You feel restless with a Venus-Uranus conjunction (Pisces) and may want to change something in your relationships, or you may face upsets from others. Mercury enters Aries.

March 5 - Mercury semi-square Neptune. You are intuitive.

March 6 - Moon enters Aquarius; spend time with friends.

March 7 - This is the day to focus on your goals and go for them with Mars opposing Saturn. If we don't channel this difficult energy productively it will bring us obstacles. The Sun is also quincunx Jupiter, encouraging us to trip over loose ends.

March 8 - Moon enters Pisces at 4:32 p.m.

March 9 - No significant aspects.

March 10 - A busy day with Mars-Uranus semi-square, New Moon in Pisces, Sun trine Saturn and Moon entering Aries at 6:03 p.m.

March 11 - Venus-Jupiter quincunx.

March 12 - .Moon enters Taurus, making a sensual day.

March 13 - Jupiter and Neptune trine (Libra-Aquarius); a good day for inner reflection and spiritual pursuits.

March 14 - Today sees a difficult but powerful Sun Pluto square (Pisces-Sagittarius) pressuring us to make changes. Also a Venus-Saturn trine (Pisces-Cancer) later brings support from relationships to help us make those changes.

March 15 - Moon enters Gemini at 5:44 a.m. bringing fun and wit to the fore.

March 16 - No major aspects.

March 17 - Moon enters Cancer at 4:44 p.m. Venus-Pluto square (Pisces-Sagittarius) at 10:12 p.m. bringing possibly jealousy and loss in relationships.

March 18 - No major aspects.

March 19 - Sun sextile Mars in Capricorn aligns will with action. It's a good day for work and play. Mercury turns retrograde at 14 degrees Aries in the afternoon until April 11.

March 20 - Sun enters Aries and the new Astrological year begins! As Mercury retrograde is also Aries, check carefully before beginning new ventures. Look to the past for answers. The Moon enters Leo also, adding fire to fire. It's a significant day for Aries, the mark of a new beginning, because also Mars, ruler of Aries enters Aquarius. The key now is intelligent, considered action - instead of impulse.

March 21 - Saturn turns direct in Cancer. Sun semisquares Neptune at 9:37 p.m. so watch your imagination doesn't run wild. Seek solace in meditation and spiritual pursuits.

March 22 - Venus enters Aries at 8:25 a.m. At 5:10 p.m., the Moon enters Virgo moving from drama into a more humble approach.

March 23 - Venus-Neptune semi-square (Aries-Aquarius) brings sensitive relationship issues to the fore. We are feeling vulnerable.

March 24 - No major aspects.

March 25 - Venus and Mars sextile today (Aries - Aquarius) is pleasant and easy going. At 3:00 a.m. Moon enters Libra. At 12:59 p.m. there's a Full Moon (Libra-Aries) highlighting self versus other, independence versus compromise.

March 26 - Pluto turns retrograde at 24 degrees 31 Sagittarius. Important to know that for you Sagittarians and Geminis. This is the time to reexamine ourselves and our higher goals in life.

March 27 - Moon enters Scorpio at 10:29 a.m.

March 28 - No major aspects.

March 29 - Mercury conjuncts Sun and Venus, aligning intelligence, creativity and love, so great combination, especially when making decisions about relationships.

March 30 - Venus joins Sun at 10 degrees 31 Aries at 7:30 p.m. Appreciate yourself, love yourself, and you are better equipped to love others.

March 31 - Mercury sextile Moon (Aries-Aquarius) sharpens the wits today!
