Reversing global warming is not a political issue. It's a practical and realistic proposal. It's our civic responsibility. If we, our children, and our children's children want to continue living on Earth, it's an imperative. And we have to start today.

If you want to get inspired and be given some pointers, I would start by watching Al Gore's film "The Inconvenient Truth." Even if you don't like Al Gore, you should see this.

Do Your Own Research
If you want to do your own research, I would suggest you go to http://www.climate.org. There it says:

"Since the beginning of the Industrial Revolution, human activities have caused an increase in several greenhouse gases, most notably carbon dioxide, a trend most scientists believe is causing anthropogenic greenhouse warming. Over the past two centuries the concentration of carbon dioxide in our atmosphere has increased about 30 percent, from a pre-industrial level of about 270 parts per million to a current level of 370 parts per million. Carbon dioxide concentrations in the atmosphere are already higher today than at any time in the past 150,000 years."

We Are Poisoning Ourselves
I know the effects of too much carbon dioxide first hand. My beautiful mother died in January, 2006. She had emphysema and was on oxygen and finally died because her carbon dioxide levels were too high....she was poisoned by carbon dioxide. This is now what is happening to us on a global level - we are poisoning ourselves. Believe me, I witnessed her slowly dying over many months and even years, and it is a horrible way to die. I never want to see it happen to anyone else. Every life is precious - human, animal and plant life.

We need to wake up today, and realize we are responsible. Especially those privileged ones of us who are fortunate enough to be living the American Dream. We absolutely need to start caring, to become more conscious, to start giving back. It is not even a spiritual thing to do, I believe it is our duty. I know many of you do many wonderful, charitable things and really care.

Can one person really make a difference?
Yes, yes, yes. One person has always made a difference. Look at how Mother Theresa changed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people worldwide because of her example. Look at Martin Luther King. Look at Gandhi. It is always one person, always, always, always.

Al Gore says in his film that if enough people in the U.S. do a few simple things in their homes, cars, etc., (which I will be listing below), then we can bring back Global Warming to what it was in the 1970s (much, much less than now).

PRACTICAL SOLUTIONS

1. Switch to Green Energy.

This is energy from sun, wind and water and other renewable sources - instead of from oil and nuclear. It costs another 6% on your bill at the moment, which for me is about another $4 a month. I was told by the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power that the more people who switch, the more renewable power plants they can build. If your local Department of Water and Power doesn't supply green energy, ask them why not, and put in a request that they do - contact your local politician.

In the Kitchen

• Are your appliances bigger than they need to be?
• Refrigerators suck a lot of energy. Here's things to do to save yourself money, and help reduce global warming.
• Keep it clean. Storing things on top of the fridge make it work harder, using more energy.
• Keep it full. It uses less energy to cool a full fridge. Don't ask my why!
• Clean the condensor coils once a year and replace bad seals. Check the fridge door (look and feel) to make sure air is not escaping. If you feel cool air, replace the seal.
• Unplug if you're not using it.
• Replace your old fridge (made before 1993) to save energy and an average of $120 per year. Fridges made after 1993 are Energy Star appliances, which means they save both the environment and money. Find new appliances here.

Stop your Junk Mail and Help Eliminate Global Warming!

Most of us hate the junk mail that stuffs our mailboxes. I know I throw much of mine away unopened, thinking sadly of all the trees that have been killed, and the results of global warming. An average of 41 pounds of junk mail is sent to every adult every year, and approximately 44% of that goes to a landfill unopened. Collectively that is more than 4 million tons (62 billion pieces) of junk mail each year, which leads to forest destruction, water wastage, unnecessary use of fuel and electricity, and millions of tons of global warming gases.

Most of us don't have time to contact every organization that sends us junk mail and then even if we do, our name doesn't always get removed. However, there is now a service organization called 41Pounds.org that will do all the work for us and keep us free of junk mail for as long as five years.

There is a one time charge of $41, but they donate half their net proceeds to worthy nonprofits and you can select which one from a list on their website and can add your own favorite to their list. It seems you will reduce your unsolicited mail by 80-95% seeing the full result in two to three months. You can go to their website if you're interested.

However, there are ways to do it yourself. Visit this website for more information.

Also, since much of the junk mail comes from companies you probably already order from, the best way to deal with that is write them a snail mail letter and ask to be removed from their mailing lists. Use the same letter and send it out to every company you deal with. This is what I am in the process of doing.

I thought you would be interested in the following email conversation with Cindy Preville, who works in Product Development for Wind Energy.

Cindy:

Imagine a pristine planet Earth, where the sky is fresh and blue and the water is clean and clear. Imagine our world restored back to where everything is balanced. There is no more poverty, no unbalanced political powers, and no more wars. Imagine having an advanced civilization without pollution. Imagine animals, birds, ocean life, and every living thing existing in harmony with all others. Sounds like a fantasy or at least something that would take multiple generations to achieve. Well, think again. We can create this in our lifetime.

There is an energy source that can power anything and everything perpetually and without polluting. Zero point energy has been patented a few ways and it's fascinating. What the metaphysician has always known, scientists are starting to understand. Quantum physics has caught up to the point where we now know that there is something “divine” behind all “energy”.

Physicists observing the smallest particle found that it's not a particle at all, it's actually light. Being the curious beings that we are, we looked further and found that light is just pure energy vibrating at a certain frequency. That discovery caused us to contemplate that if that's so, then pure energy must be the cause of all matter, whatever form matter can take. That means then that nothing is solid - NO-THING not even you. So not only are these particles not really solid to begin with, there is indeed more space between them then what seems to be solid.

So what we really have then is energy taking various shapes and forms and we call all that stuff “matter”. What the heck is causing this energy to take whatever form of matter, like my nose, the roof of my house, the tree outside? It's intent. That's right folks, something or someone is intending matter to take certain forms. The question then is whose intent? Contemplate that for a while and you will glimpse into yourself.

Anyway, for now in regards to producing free energy, what they figured out is that particles come and go out of “reality” and when they do, a charge occurs and this charge can be harnessed. This coming and going of particles happens all the time into infinity in any direction that you can conceive. That being so, it's an infinite source of power and tapping the charges of those particles or harnessing this energy doesn't create any emissions or pollution - there are no adverse effects at all, (except perhaps the misuse of the power itself. As you know, anything can be used as a weapon.) A device the size of a small box, about the size of your cutlery drawer in the kitchen, can create energy from “space” all the time to power everything in your house. That means that your house doesn't have to have an outside power source to reach your home. You are self-sufficient and can produce all the energy you want forever. This device has no moving parts and never wears out.

Eventually, we can create miniature versions of this zero point free energy device so that you won't have to plug anything in anymore. Even your electric car could run perpetually without ever having to be plugged in. Given the new developments in anti-gravitational propulsion (and we've had this technology for at least 50 years from shooting down our neighbours - UFOs and reverse engineering their technology), we can now have vehicles that don't need to run on wheels on the ground. Fantastic!! That takes away the need for paving the planet! You know that Joni Mitchell song? “Pave paradise, put up a parking lot”. Well, we can dismantle all that ugliness, finally!

So, imagine a wireless and pavement free world. That means that the animals don't have get killed trying to cross highways. It means, no more highways cutting through the planet. All that land would restore to nature. All those power lines, power stations, gas pipe lines, all that stuff would disappear. I have always seen this and regardless of what transpires in the meantime, while we work out this transformation, it will be so!

Chrissie:

I have heard a little about Zero Point Field from my dealings with Lynne McTaggart and scientists from the Field. It is encouraging to know that there is so much going on that could bring practical solutions for our future. Do you think it is being considered seriously, funded?

Cindy: Yes, but by the private sector. etc., by world governments no way, they still have a warped understanding of “power” in every sense. They are still hooked on oil, hooked on greed and a false sense of power through control.

Chrissie: Do you know if it's true that we're running short of oil very soon?

Cindy:

There's a lot there but it's totally unhealthy for us to continue to blood let HER. There are cavities being created and seismic activity and so on occurring partially as a result of our irresponsible behaviour. We can't continue to burn oil and its derivatives any longer either. That's the equivalent of running your car in your living room. We also should NOT be messing around with nuclear power at all until we understand it fully, including how to manage the waste. As you know, our neighbours had a fit in the 40's and 50's when we started to play with this. To them, it was Good God, the kids have found the matches! We have indeed technologically surpassed our current wisdom and that's a dangerous combination. Because of this, there are still way too many dangers and drawbacks associated with nuclear power. By the way, we are still being monitored as we continue to “play with matches”. Have a look at how many UFO sightings just happen to be around nuclear facilities or nuclear missiles. That's not a “coincidence”.

Chrissie:

Surely governments are aware of all these advances, but presumably a lot is about money and control...

Cindy:

All these great possibilities have been suppressed, repressed, killed off, etc. by the powers that be - for greed. I believe that because of all the spiritual work and because of our position in space (photon belt) we are in a time of enlightenment. This is causing masses to wake up and begin to realize their personal power. The Internet has been one of our biggest blessings and it was apparently designed for military use and designed to NOT be able to be taken down or killed off - there is no centralized place to bomb. It has turned out to be the venue for free speech and global communication. The PTB (powers that be) cannot keep up. They try, but we are too many now. So, they pretend that they are playing the game our way, but they are not. All the progressive steps are happening from the grassroots up. Think of a pyramid and what it would take to bring it down. Taking a chunk off the top only makes a weird looking pyramid. Taking a corner chunk off the bottom brings it down. We are that bottom section!!! WE are causing changes at all levels, from the bottom up!

Do you feel positive that some of these methods will be adopted in time?

Cindy:

Yes, by the people, not the governments or corporations. People are realizing that our “elected” officials work for the PTBs and their oil and hidden agendas. They are no longer willing to send their kids off to war, to have the future be ruined for their children, etc. People are taking matters into their own hands. If a clean vehicle is not made available by the car manufacturers, they'll have their car modified. If there aren't decent alternatives in the grocery store for cleaning their homes environmentally, they will use vinegar and baking soda until something else shows up that doesn't kill or injure. Some people are leaving all the packaging at the store where they purchased products, making the retailer responsible for what he buys and translating that responsibility over to the manufacturer. Schools are not addressing our children's needs, so we have forced some changes. Organic food is in grocery stores now and vitamins in pharmacies. It didn't take that long actually. I was part of that vision too.


Now, visualize this: A crystal clean, harmonious, joyful and abundant Earth experience for all. See it and believe it. We are almost there.
