Today, Tuesday, December 6, the Sun, moving towards the lunar eclipse on Saturday, is in a conjunction with a deep space point called Great Attractor. This point is at the midpoint of Sagittarius in the midst of thousands and thousands of Galaxies. It is the largest thing known to science - a massive object in deep space that pulls everything in our Galaxy's vicinity towards it as it moves away from us.
We can't see it as. it's obscured by dust along the Galactic plane but we can see its effects and astronomers use gamma and infrared waves to read it. It has a massive gravitational force that, according to astronomers - and I am interpreting what I have read, so bear with me - seems to bend space-time so we can see around it to look around it at the back of the universe.

From an astrological perspective, people with this point in their charts aspected can make a profound effect on others - attracting and pushing away at the same time - i.e. typically Sagittarian - they impress you and attract you, yet you don't dare come too close in case you crowd them.
Currently, in the same degree is the North Node which is the "destiny point" that moves us towards our destiny. This alignment of the Sun, the Great Attractor point and the North Node is today and won't happen again for 18 years. So, if there's been something you've wanted to do that is aligned with your life path or destiny - today is the day!
So we have the Sun, our character and sense of self, the North Node, our destiny point or soul's path, added to this powerful deep-space point all together. Astrologically, it's obviously a power-packed day and we have the strength and determination to now succeed. Dig deep and find that thing you need to do - and do it. Remember, the Great Attractor enables us to see around the curve to the back of the Universe. Perhaps now we can see around our own limitations to our true potential.
Also the Moon enters Taurus today at 9:34 a.m. - weird, exactly the time as I'm writing this as I glance down to the clock on my computer. I have the Moon in Taurus so it is definitely a sign for me. It is conjunct retrograde Jupiter bringing increased determination to bring our efforts to manifestation. Good luck!
