A Blessing for the New Year

My dream for you in this New Year of 2009 is --

That you find meaning, joy and inspiration in the myriad dimensions of your life from the small to the sublime;

That every day in every way your life may draw you closer to that unique destiny and higher calling that is your birthright;

That wisdom may be your guide, and service your mode of action; with inspiration ever flowing from your mind and heart;

That you may be a lighthouse to all; so that those you meet are guided into the safe harbor of their own becoming;

That you may cherish the guidance you receive on your Path, in your journey from the person you were to the extraordinary person you will become;

That the power of God may lighten your burdens when heaviness fills your heart; may raise you when you're down;

That when others wrong you, you have the strength to understand a Higher Plan and follow that calling ever more surely;

That when others give to you, you accept their gifts, honoring them with the sweet perfume of your ready friendship;

That when the night is dark, you have faith that the Sun will rise in so short a time;

That peace may reign; not only in your heart but as an active, living thing, fueled by the dedication, strength and pure love of the few for the many;

That you may have the freedom to worship your God, whichever form It takes, so that the great Plan of Peace and Enlightenment may manifest upon our world;

That your relationships - human, animal, the Blessed Mother Earth, the Great Ones who watch over us - are filled with grace and love;

That your choices, decisions, thoughts and actions are reflections of that real and higher part of you;

That compassion may inspire you to action; wisdom may guide you, and the enduring Love of God fuel your inner fire;

That your relationship with the Divine may ever whisper its sweet songs of the soul; filling you with that mystical and enduring power of Love;

That Love may reign supreme upon our world; made possible by the ever more complete manifestation of Divinity within us all.
